Adams
André Adams, trumpet player with the St. Michael wind band from Thorn and a conscript musician with the brass band of genius, started his career as a wind instrument repairman, for which he was trained in Brussels (B) and Nauheim (D). When he had successfully completed these courses, he started repairing instruments as a small self-employed person in his parents' shed. The repair business soon prompted the question of whether he could also sell instruments. Adams' customers, music groups and musicians, believed that where instruments are repaired, instruments should also be purchased. And from that thought, the Thorner music store: Muziekcentrale Adams became a fact in 1970.
